Camp BFM - FAQ

How do I sign up for a Camp/class?
To register for an upcoming camp or class, please visit the Be A Fit Mama store and complete the enrollment process securely online. Once we’ve received your registration information, we’ll contact you to provide you with details about your pre-camp evaluation and answer any questions you may have.

What do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring an exercise mat and one set of 4 to 8 lb. hand weights. You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp and hand towel should you need.

What will my body feel like? Will I be sore?
It is perfectly normal to feel some soreness in their muscles after the first couple days of camp. We will provide you with great tips to keep you comfortable and prepared to continue on your fitness journey.

Who attends Camp BFM?
Beautiful women just like you! The majority of attendees are women who want/need a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. We do ask that you have at least some exercise experience to ensure your safety and a better flow of class.

Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp/class due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date. However there is a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, we can only give you a credit towards another boot camp or class. This credit is nontransferable. Unfortunately, credit is not given toward private fitness training. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.

What is a typical day like at camp?
Every day is a special day at Camp BFM! You will never experience the same workout twice and we work diligently to make sure you are engaged, encouraged, yet challenged. You can expect engaging in body/dumbbell weight training, dance conditioning, yoga, pilates, light running, core training and jumping rope over the course of the 4 weeks.

How soon will I see results?
Improvement in your cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility can be see in as little as two to three days. Visual Improvement can take anywhere from two to four weeks depending on your body type and effort level. Don’t forget that every woman’s body is different! Just because your friend may see visable results in a certain period of time, does not mean that your body is not working hard behind the scenes preparing for the great unveiling. :-) However, it is common to see campers go down 1-2 dresses sizes within their first camp.

What happens after camp is over?
You can get re-measured and tested to show your progress and success in the program. Many campers return for a second and even third, while others may continue on as a Personal Fitness Training client.
