Recipe of the Week: Maple-Glazed Plank Grilled Salmon

I must admit that I did not concoct this wonderful recipe, but I felt that I must absolutely share it with you. If you love fish, then this is definitely meant for you. Enjoy!

Maple-Glazed Plank-Grilled Salmon

Materials Needed:

Indoor grill with cover

Cedar Plank

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup

1/8 Cup Blasamic Vinegar

1 Tbsp Orange Zest

2 6 oz. Wild Salmon Fillets

salt and pepper to task

olive oil for brushing

Directions:

Soak a cedar plank in water for at least 4 hours to prevent the wood from burning. Next, preheat the grill to high. In a small box, mix together syrup, vinegar and orange zest. Brush the plank with olive oil while preheating. Rinse the salmon and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper to task. Place salmon on plank, skin side down.

Reduce heat to medium and cover grill. Cook for approximately 8 minutes. Baste with maple glaze, until salmon flakes easily (3-7 minutes).

Serves 2
