Here’s the final installment from our recent live call “7 Ways to Increase Your Motivation”. I hope you have enjoyed these tips over the past couple of weeks. Please leave your comments below!

#5 reward yourself

This is one of my absolute favorite! Reward yourself. You know we spent so much time making your commitments and saying our intentions and goals that we forget to take a moment and reward ourselves. Give ourselves a pat on the back for all the work that we’ve done. My suggestion is to make incremental goals in addition to the big one. We always want to set aside times in our journeys to look back and and praise ourselves for all the hard work that we’ve done. Whether you’ve made changes in your eating habits, or found like-minded friends to socialize with; you are deserving of a reward. Let those who would be something that inspires you to Stay on track. A piece of jewelry, a spa day, chocolate cookie. Anything that makes your heart sing.

#6 Try something new every week

This is something that I try to remind my clients about on a regular basis. Try something new every week! It’s very simple. It doesn’t necessarily have to be related to health and fitness but it’s all about getting your energy up so that you feel motivated and inspired to use your body, to feel lighter and to want to engage in the activities that are in service to you towards reaching your goals. For example, instead of going on your usual run, go for hike? Instead of doing yoga when you try Pilates? Instead of going out to dinner on Friday night why don’t you and your spouse, friends, or kids stay home and make your own fancy dinner? You’ll be surprised by what can happen when you just shake things up a little bit. He will feel lighter and more excited to engage in the every day to do’s.

#7 Visualize and feel success

The final tip I have for you this evening is to visualize and feel your success. I know you have heard about meditation, and there are so many ways to meditate. But my Favorite is in visualization. I believe the success that my clients have had over these years with me has been through including visualization techniques into their programs. You’ve already done the work of setting your intention, your goals and committing to yourself. you’ve released judgment around yourself, where you are and your process, surrounded yourself with like-minded people and you are trying new things every week. now I want you to see yourself for Fulfilling your goals. I want you to see what it looks like, and I want you to feel what it would feel like.
