Sometimes the morning just calls for something simple, slightly sweet and not too filling. If you have frozen berries and almond milk, this can be the perfect early morning start. For added taste, omega-3, fiber and protein, add just a little flax to top it off. Delicious!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries or blueberries
1 tsp ground flax
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
Gather all of your ingredients and place them into your blender. I use the basic Vitamix model and it works great. Blend on medium until all the fruit have blended completely. Pour and serve.
